My first professional massage was in 2001, when I first visited the newly opened Stillpoint Center.
However, I was intrigued with studying this healing art almost 40 years ago when I first saw an ad for a massage school in a local alternative newspaper. Soon after that first massage I felt the urge to get deeper healing with Structural Integration and Rolfing met this ‘knead’ for about two years
Now I've transitioned from a successful 20-year career as an Ecologist and Environmental Consultant. This “Second Life” vocation came from the desire to integrate my Livelihood and my Potential for Healing; from working in the outdoor environment to assisting people improving their inner environment. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I like to combine Deep-Tissue Myofascial techniques and Joint Manipulation to help the client assimilate our table sessions with their daily routine.
I graduated at the top of my class in Massage Therapy and Bodywork in March 2009 at Southwestern College, Florence, Kentucky. I am licensed in Kentucky and Ohio. I am certified in Oncology Massage by Cheryl Chapman, RN, CMT.
